About

Nimbus Kit started as a group chat between a few friends who kept sending each other screenshots of weird little mobile games. At some point we figured we should just write it all down somewhere, and the site grew from there. We're not a big outlet with quarterly targets — we're people who like playing on the bus and want to tell you what's good.

Every game we cover gets installed on an actual phone and played properly. Not a trailer, not a press kit — the real thing, with all its loading screens and occasional stutters. If a game annoyed us, we say so. If it surprised us, we say that too.

We lean toward smaller teams and oddball ideas, but we won't ignore something just because it got popular. The only rule is that it has to be interesting to play. Genre doesn't matter to us — a clever card game and a chaotic racer can share a page here without any problem.

The reviews are opinions, nothing more. You might hate a game we loved. That's fine, and honestly that's part of the fun of writing about this stuff.
